What would be the best way to guerrilla market a videography company targeting future brides?

Try taking your guerrilla marketing online.

Create a series of “how to” one minute vidoes on topics such as:

  • How to take the best wedding photo
  • How to how to show off your ring
  • How to pose for the video camera before and after your first dance

You know, all the questions your clients ask you on a daily basis?  Create videos answering them.

Once the videos are done, create a channel for your company on YouTube, Howcast and any video sites geared towards the wedding industry.

Make the videos awesome. Short, educational, funny but not rude (not for this industry) but shot well, showcasing your talents. Mix in video testimonials of your work.  Drive all the video traffic to a one section of your website, like the “email us for more info” page.

Then use your google analytics to monitor conversions (# of site visitors vs. # of emails received). If you have a designer on staff, you can (make small changes on this landing page to test for better conversions etc.

The greatest thing about online marketing is that just about any traditional off-line guerrilla marketing idea you think of can be altered and activated on the web.  In fact, for best results, try a mix of both.
